For more than 20 years, The Village Locksmiths has been the locksmith East Hampton calls. We serve homes and businesses in Montauk, Amagansett, Springs, Wainscott, Sagaponack, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, North Haven, Water Mill, Southampton and the towns in between.
We know this area because we work in it every day. A summer rental in Montauk, a weekend house in Sagaponack and a shop on Main Street in Sag Harbor all have different security needs, and we’ve handled them all. Homes sit empty through the winter and fill up in the summer. Keys get handed to renters, caretakers, landscapers and contractors. When a house changes hands, nobody’s sure how many copies are still out there. A lot of what we do is help owners take back control: rekeying between seasons, upgrading to stronger deadbolts, or switching to smart locks so access can be managed from anywhere.
Our locksmiths handle everything from emergency lockouts to full security upgrades. Dennis squeezed me into his schedule and repaired my outside door lock for me expertly. He easily could have told me that the lock needed to be repaired which would have required me to buy a new lock from him on the spot—but he is an honest professional and did only what was needed.
