Historic cottages and homes on the bluffs
Original doors in the hamlet often carry locks and latches worn over decades. Rather than drill everything out, we repair the lock when parts allow, rekey it, or install new hardware that fits the existing door, such as Emtek or Schlage pieces styled for an older house. Larger homes on the bluffs bring a different job: many exterior doors, a garage entry and sometimes a pool house. Keypad and smart locks, or Medeco and Mul-T-Lock high-security cylinders, keep those keys under control.

Stony Brook Southampton has its campus on Tuckahoe Road. North of Montauk Highway, between Tuckahoe Lane and St. Andrews Road, the old Art Village still holds several of its original cottages as private homes, and William Merritt Chase painted a canvas titled Shinnecock Hills in 1891.
